Go beyond the isolated prompt
A workflow connects model calls with data retrieval, business tools, and validation steps. Start with a bounded operational process where success can be defined. Avoid giving an agent broad access simply because the underlying model is capable.
Put review where it matters
Require approval at consequential actions such as sending sensitive information, changing critical records, or making a binding commitment. Make the proposed action and supporting information easy for the reviewer to assess.
Evaluate behavior, not just answers
Test tool selection, permissions, data handling, and failure recovery as well as final response quality. A convincing explanation does not prove that the correct business action occurred.
Release in useful stages
Begin with observation or draft preparation. Add narrowly scoped execution once tests and monitoring justify it. Keep clear ownership and a recovery path for each connected system.
